STUDY PROGRAM: CLASS TEACHING – 240 ECTS
The Curriculum of the study program Class Teaching at the Faculty of Education in Bijeljina is based on the Bologna Declaration and the application of ECTS scoring standards.
The study program for acquiring the qualification of Bachelor in Teaching Education - 240 ECTS is the central and basic program of the Faculty of Pedagogy in Bijeljina, which is aimed at training staff to perform the most responsible role within the education system.
One of the important goals of the study program is to train students in the field of competence to include theoretical, professional and practical knowledge / skills in the teaching process, as well as in the field of noticing interdisciplinary correlations and their performance in teaching.
The study program provides students with knowledge of theoretical subjects (pedagogical, didactic, sociological, philological, natural-mathematical), skills and knowledge in the field of information and communication technologies, physical education, music and fine arts, methodological knowledge and skills. In terms of learning outcomes, the Faculty of Education in Bijeljina will continue to respect the standards in higher education, and contribute to the quality of education.
The study program is in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Declaration and lasts four years (8 semesters, 240 ECTS points). In the organization of studies, the rules of study are applied, which are approved by the competent bodies of the University and in accordance with the Law on Higher Education in the Republic of Srpska. The studies are in accordance with the studies of the class teaching in the surrounding countries.
The quality of education of Bachelors in Teaching Education is one of the main factors that affects the level of student educational achievement. Therefore, the education and professional development of primary school teachers and educators is a key issue in any country that seeks to improve the education system and make it more accessible and flexible.
The purpose of the study program for the education of Bachelors in Teaching Education at the Faculty of Pedagogy in Bijeljina is to educate highly professional educational staff to work in the first and second triad of primary school. In accordance with the relationship between general education, scientific-professional, theoretical-methodological and professional-applied subjects, the study course provides improvement of the theory and practice of upbringing and education, as well as their connection. Hence, great attention is paid to the professional practice of students, for which an adequate number of hours of preparation is provided.
The Faculty of Pedagogy which is home faculty for methodological sciences, includes subjects (courses and modules) that provide the student with the necessary scientific, theoretical and practical preparation for performing all forms of teaching. The second segment of the study program Class teaching refers to the methodologies of all subjects that are compulsory in the primary school curriculum.
STUDY PROGRAM: PRESCHOOL EDUCATION AND CARE – 240 ECTS
The curriculum of the study program Preschool Education and Care of the Faculty of Pedagogy in Bijeljina is based on the Bologna Declaration and the application of ECTS scoring standards.
The Curriculum for acquiring the qualification of Bachelor of Teaching (Preschool Education and Care) - 240 ECTS provides quality and professional education, in accordance with the decisions of the University of East Sarajevo. The first cycle of the study program Preschool Education and Care lasts four years (8 semesters, 240 ECTS points).
The purpose of the study program of academic studies Preschool Education and Care is high-quality education of students for successful performance of academic, professional and research work in the field of educational work in preschool institutions. The primary purpose of this study program is to educate students for the position of Bachelors of Teaching (Preschool Education and Care) in preschool institutions, but also as organizers and implementers of educational activities in other institutions of the education system and organizations within the professional development of employees, as well as to train them for theoretical and research work in the field of pedagogical sciences.
This study program provides pedagogical education defined by the relevant documents of the OECD, the European Commission, European organizations for the education of educators, the standards of the educational profession and the strategy of professionalisation of this profession. They are also in accordance with the European and the Republic of Srpska documents which determine the directions of development of pedagogical education within which the Bachelors of Teaching (Preschool Education and Care) of this area work.
STUDY PROGRAM: TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND COMPUTER SCIENCE
The curriculum of the study program Technical Education and Computer Science of the Faculty of Education in Bijeljina is based on the Bologna Declaration and the application of ECTS scoring standards.
The curriculum provides quality and professional education for obtaining the qualification of Bachelor in Technical Education and Computer Science - 180 ECTS, in accordance with the decisions of the University of East Sarajevo. The first cycle of the study program Technical Education and Computer Science lasts three years (6 semesters, 180 ECTS points).
The purpose of the study programTechnical Education and Computer Science is high-quality education of students for successful performance of academic, professional and research work in the field of educational work in the teaching of technical education and computer science. The primary purpose of this study program is to educate students for the position of the Bachelor in Technical Education and Computer Science in primary and secondary education, as well as for organizers and implementers of educational and teaching activities in other institutions of education and organizations and professional development of employees.
Teachers of Technical Education and Computer Science are most often in the role of " the teacher of Technology and Computer Science", who lays the foundations of technical and information education and technical and information literacy, which makes his job more complex and more responsible.
